Child Safety Standards

Drafting disclosure
The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy on Neufia were written with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, then published by Neufia. They are not legal advice. If you need advice about your own situation, speak to a qualified lawyer.
By using Neufia, creating an account, or ticking the acceptance box at sign-up, you acknowledge that you have read these documents (including this notice) and agree to be bound by them as presented. For questions: hello@neufia.com.
These Child Safety Standards ("Standards") apply to Neufia's websites, mobile applications, and related services (the "Service"). They are published by Neufia ("we", "us") and describe our position on child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
These Standards supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where there is a conflict about child safety, these Standards control.
1. Zero tolerance
Neufia has zero tolerance for CSAE. Users may not create, upload, share, solicit, store, promote, or distribute CSAM or any content or conduct that sexually exploits, endangers, or abuses a child.
2. Prohibited conduct
Without limitation, the following are prohibited on the Service:
- CSAM in any form, including real, fictional, or AI-generated depictions of child sexual abuse.
- Grooming, sexualization of minors, or attempts to obtain sexual content from a child.
- Trafficking, exploitation, or endangerment of children, or content that facilitates such conduct.
- Using the Service to contact minors for sexual purposes or to arrange offline sexual abuse.
- Sharing links, files, or instructions intended to obtain or distribute CSAM or to exploit children.
3. Age eligibility
The Service is not directed to children who are below the minimum age required by applicable law in their region. Users must meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly permit use that violates child-protection laws.
4. Reporting in the Service
Users can report concerning content or behaviour in the Service, including from the mobile app and website, using in-product reporting tools where available (for example on posts and in chat). Reports are reviewed under these Standards and our Terms.
You may also email hello@neufia.com with the relevant @handle, post or room identifier, and any supporting detail. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
5. Enforcement and referrals
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or other CSAE on the Service, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the content and preserve information as required by law.
- Suspend or terminate accounts involved, and take other measures needed to protect users and the Service.
- Report confirmed CSAM to appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and relevant agencies elsewhere, as required by law.
- Cooperate with law enforcement and trusted safety partners where legally permitted.
6. Child safety point of contact
Neufia's designated child safety point of contact for notices from app stores and regulators about CSAE on the Service is hello@neufia.com. This contact can speak to our review and enforcement procedures and coordinate required action.
7. Changes
We may update these Standards from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be described in our Terms or Privacy Policy where appropriate.
